Spaltecaster

When maple wood is treated just right, it develops dramatic, random black lines and stripes throughout the wood, and is referred to as "spalted". It is actually caused by rot, but like fine wine or cheese the results are worth the effort. Spaltecaster uses a black walnut body to back up the top, lightened and rendered more resonant with numerous air chambers. A pair of GFS "Loudmouth" humbucking pickups through a five-way selector switch allow ample variety of tones, from country pickin' to searing leads.
