Caramellow

This elegant and innovative instrument is mellow and sugary-sweet acoustically or plugged in. Part of the secret is the use of western red cedar for the soundboard. While common enough in classical guitars, it has been overlooked for archtops. The tone is warm and woody, sweet and dark. Caramellow also includes a rarely-seen feature: a piezo pickup in the bridge, as well as a traditional humbucking pickup at the neck. Running through a Fishman onboard pre-amp, this gives the player the ability to blend the natural acoustic tone from the piezo with the output of the jazz-style neck pickup. Alternatively, one can split them and run each sound to a different amp. Either way, the result is an unbelievable depth of tone.
