Bast

Not many guitars can be said to have been forged in fire... but Bast is. The uniquely textured surface of the body is the result of scorched and burnished douglas-fir; relief carves reveal the clear timber underneath.

Intended for a life in the dry high desert of California, the neck is laminated from layers of cocobolo, ebony, and purple heart for ultimate stability. Green vera wood accents compliment the purple and black tones.

The heart of the guitar is an RMC polyphonic pickup and preamp system. This produces a strong analog piezo signal, as well as full hexaphonic midi, and the ability to mix in a standard mag pickup too. Any sound imaginable (and some that aren't) is possible.
