Argus Panoptes

Argus Panoptes is the ancient Greek monster of a thousand eyes. I haven't counted them, but I bet there are more eyes than that in the superbly figured birdseye maple top and back plates. They're laminated to a light and snappy butternut core with contrasting black veneer layers. A flamed rock maple neck with walnut centre stripe completes the package.
The short 24" scale, jumbo stainless steel frets, and stainless steel saddles combined with two GFS P-90 pickups make this lead players' dream. Great attack, a fat, gritty midrange, and superb playability, it truly is a monster of tone.
